Ron Paul is hitting back at the The Donald — asking what election he’s ever won — after Trump charged that the Texas Republican can’t win the White House.
“I was elected 11 times and somebody said, ‘Well, how many times has Donald Trump been elected?” Paul said Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “Does he have really the right to criticize others and say they are unelect[able]?”

At CPAC on Thursday, Trump insisted Paul could never win the presidency.
“I like Ron Paul, I think he is a good guy but honesty he just has zero chance of getting elected and I can tell you this, if I run and if I win this country will be respected again,” he said to a mix of cheers and jeers.Paul acknowledged Monday that “the reality is it would be very, very difficult” for him to beat President Barack Obama in the 2012 general election, but not impossible.
“If you look at the polls — there aren't that many — my appeal is to a lot of independents and a lot of progressive Democrats who are sick and tired of Obama for opting out of cutting back on some of his militarism,” Paul said. “He's a warmonger, he’s expanding the war.”
