High Level Alert: P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act in closed vote Monday, 2-14, Valentines Day

 According to the latest Campain for Liberty newsletter email, The P.A.T.R.I.O.T act as H.R. 514 will be brought up under a closed rule, meaning there will be no amendments and no points of order against the bill and there will only be one hour of debate. Yes I said ONE (1) hour of debate. This is of course fitting for our congress on the "Day of Love", Monday, Valentines Day, 2-14-2011.

Please call your congressman, congresswoman, and/or, congresscritter and tell them that "We The People" disapprove of the "sneak and peak searches", "search and seizure of liberty records", and "national security letters" that are signed by anonymous bureaucrats, replacing "REAL" warrants that are signed by a judge.
  
Tell them to vote no on H.R. 514 and to get behind the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.

Dear "Patriot",

Ignoring the Bill of Rights and overwhelming opposition from the American People, the House is expected to once again vote on the tyrannical “PATRIOT” Act this Monday.

H.R. 514 will be brought up under a closed rule, meaning there will be no amendments and no points of order against the bill and only one hour of debate.

Last Tuesday, you and I were able to hand the statists a stinging defeat they were not expecting when they first brought H.R. 514 up for a vote under a suspension of the rules.

This time, it will be much easier for them to get the votes, since they only need a majority of the House.

That’s why it’s urgent you contact your representative immediately to let them know they should not be so quick to give up more of your liberties for so-called “security.”

The entire “PATRIOT” Act needs to be repealed, but right now, the three sunsetting provisions should be allowed to expire outright.

Sources on the Hill report that House members are being put under extreme pressure to support H.R. 514 in a shameless attempt to ram this bill down the American People’s throats.

Tell your representative to stand for the Constitution by voting against the Bill of Rights-shredding “PATRIOT” Act.
